About me
I am a UK based textile designer/maker who specialises predominantly in stitch, embellishment and CAD embroidery for fashion. I design and create for couture fashion to maintain an emphasis on beautiful hand crafted work alongside new digital stitch technology. I am passionate about creativity in stitch and want to bring traditional couture and digital technologies together to create beautiful fashion fabrics and accessories.

Intern at couture bridal company –
Involved in the making of bespoke bridal accessories including head combs, hair pins and bands, the creation of hand cut silk flowers and the adornment of couture dresses.
Embroidery Intern
April 2015-May 2015

Intern at a bespoke embroidery company –
The main project I was involved with during my internship was a bridal project. I looked at current bridal trends and selected three key ones to inspire the creation of a joint collection of bridal samples with another intern. I was involved with test stitching newly developed cross-stitch kits, meeting and delivering items to clients and keeping the social media accounts for the company relevant and updated with inspiring work.
I learnt basic tambour beading skills and was able to practice delicate hand stitching.
